Thermal insulation technician — The Scottish Borders

Vacancy available: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in The Scottish Borders, Scotland. You will work at a busy building site. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Working-at-height certificate an advantage You will fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
