Die-casting operator • Crittenden County, Kentucky

Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Crittenden County, Kentucky. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. Day-to-day duties: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Full-time, day shift. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
