Immediate opening: lifting rigger (Florida)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Nassau County, Florida. You will read lift plans and method statements before starting; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles 3+ years on the tools preferred. $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
