Lift technician — Gray County

Join our team: we are hiring a lift technician in Gray County, Texas. Day to day you will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Full-time, day shift.
