We are recruiting: production line operator (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production line operator in McLean County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Day to day you will report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers.
