Flatlock machine operator — Isiala-Ngwa North

Join our team: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Isiala-Ngwa North, Abia State. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
