Crane operator — Hamilton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane operator in Hamilton County, Iowa. The job is at a plant hire yard. You should have: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Day to day you will excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
