Immediate opening: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Dallas County, Alabama. The job is in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience On a typical shift you will run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
