Immediate opening: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in O'Brien County, Iowa. The job is at an infrastructure construction site. The role involves brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss. You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience.
