Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Burt County, Nebraska. On the job you will handle: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
