Join our team: track-type tractor operator (Maine)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Lincoln County, Maine. The job is at an open-cast mine. The role involves work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle. What we are looking for: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
