Join our team: we are hiring a MIG welder in Calhoun County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
