Gantry crane operator • Faribault County, Minnesota

Join our team: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Faribault County, Minnesota. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. On the job you will handle: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
