Sausage maker wanted in Sefton

Join our team: we are hiring a sausage maker in Sefton, England. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. Your main tasks: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
