Argon welder wanted in Burnett County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Burnett County, Wisconsin. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Your main tasks: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
