Vacancy available: tower crane operator (Minnesota)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Saint Louis County, Minnesota. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. The role involves: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
