Construction helper — Orange County

Now hiring: we are hiring a construction helper in Orange County, California. You will work on a metro and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean You should have: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
