Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Lewis County, Tennessee. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces On a typical shift you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal.
