Rigger — Noble County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Noble County, Ohio. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. On a typical shift you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
