Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in Des Moines County, Iowa. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. The role involves pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel. What we are looking for: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Rotating shifts.
