Tiling assistant wanted in Emmet County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Emmet County, Michigan. You will work on a residential construction site. Day to day you will lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line. Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines Pay around $10,000 per project, based on your experience.
