Shakeout operator wanted in Seminole County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Seminole County, Florida. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
