Concrete placer — Dimmit County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete placer in Dimmit County, Texas. You will be based on a road and bridge project. Day-to-day duties: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Full-time with occasional weekends.
