Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals The role involves rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio.
