Argon welder — Malheur County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Malheur County, Oregon. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. On the job you will handle: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium 2+ years on the tools preferred.
