Cnc lathe operator — Polk County

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Polk County, Nebraska. You will be based at a busy machine shop. On the job you will handle: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
