Rigging foreman — Hoonah-Angoon Census Area

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Hoonah-Angoon Census Area, Alaska. The job is at a shipyard. On the job you will handle: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
