Machine operator — Shetland Islands

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machine operator in Shetland Islands, Scotland. Requirements: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges Your main tasks: • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Contact us to fix an interview.
