Great opportunity: we are hiring a dogger in Taylor County, Florida. You will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
