Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Nottinghamshire, England. On a typical shift you will clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
