Presser — Fulton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a presser in Fulton County, Arkansas. You will work at a garment factory. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day to day you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; give each garment a final press before packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
