Crane operator — Fayette County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Fayette County, Iowa. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination On the job you will handle: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
