Formwork erector • Herkimer County, New York

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork erector in Herkimer County, New York. You will be based on a bridge and flyover project. You should have: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Your main tasks: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs Overtime paid at a premium rate.
