Safety inspector — Rusk County

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety inspector in Rusk County, Texas. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements On the job you will handle: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height 6+ years on the tools preferred. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
