Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Brown County, Minnesota. Day to day you will read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; load and index turning tools in the turret; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Six days a week, one day off.
