Rebar worker — Schenectady County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar worker in Schenectady County, New York. Your main tasks: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
