Vacancy available: we are hiring a moulder in Fergus County, Montana. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts The role involves make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends.
