Plant operator wanted in Johnson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Johnson County, Indiana. The job is at a plant hire yard. Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Your main tasks: • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals 5+ years on the tools preferred.
