Immediate opening: we are hiring a wet plasterer in Union County, Indiana. You will work at a plastering and dry lining contractor. You should have: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Day-to-day duties: • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
