Fettler • Ganye, Adamawa State

Now hiring: we are hiring a fettler in Ganye, Adamawa State. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling The role involves: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
