Concrete worker wanted in Midlothian

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete worker in Midlothian, Scotland. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. Your main tasks: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Pay around £2,850 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
