Blocklayer wanted in Washita County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Washita County, Oklahoma. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. The role involves: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
