Join our team: we are hiring a road roller operator in City of Emporia, Virginia. Requirements: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster Day-to-day duties: • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
