The role involves patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings. You should have: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
