Backhoe operator — Cambria County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Cambria County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a road and highway construction project. On a typical shift you will dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs. Requirements: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances We offer $130 per day plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
