Great opportunity: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Davis County, Iowa. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Day-to-day duties: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
