Furniture maker — Columbus County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furniture maker in Columbus County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level Requirements: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Part-time with flexible hours.
