Formwork joiner — Choctaw County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Choctaw County, Mississippi. You will work on a busy high-rise construction site. Your main tasks: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse Requirements: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
