Cold room technician — Herkimer County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cold room technician in Herkimer County, New York. You will install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; service split AC units and VRF systems. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Valid driving licence for field call-outs Part-time with flexible hours.
