CNC programmer-operator • Fauquier County, Virginia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Fauquier County, Virginia. The job is at a busy machine shop. The role involves: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
